How did I feel being the learner?
This picture depicts me ...
Initially learning ICT I was TERRIFIED this seems a nomal process I take before I settle
into a new task and then ...PERSERVERANCE
This week’s
task was to use ICT to scaffold higher order thinking participating in the
mobile phone wiki, using a thinking routine called de Bonos six thinking hats.I loved the fact that we networked and collaborate ideas support each other , valued perspectives, a social way to inteact and gain knowledge , with scaffolded support.
Four Learning Therories Working Togeather Enhance Perfomance
Constructivism: Learning is founded upon social interaction, Culture physical, Virtual
Behaviourism : Develop a routine students learn through practice, positive
reinforcement and reshaping what they have
learnt.
Cognitivisim: learning in terms of mental processing, allows chunking of information
Connetivism: How and where to find knowledge
This
process can be used for students to do group task or an individual tasks. It
allows the student to break down the task into chunks and think about only one
option at a time .Each hat represents a different perspective in order for the
student to have a balanced argument.
The scaffolding of de Bonos six thinking hats is
a fantastic tool, it caters for all students’ ability and range. Allowing the
student to develop problem based learning ,scaffold, create a deeper knowledge,
construct a deeper Knowledge by sharing collaboratively ,being able to express
and reflect ideas. Blooms Taxonomy Identifies levels of knowledge from
simplistic to complex generating content in an on line space analysing outcome,
purpose, learning experience collectively working and participating in a wiki
activity. This allows students to work on their own agendas, but using the
support of others in the group as alternative perspectives on an issue?
The Technology pedagogical and
content knowledge (Tpack) underpins
analysis and development. Knowing how to use strategies for a specific content
is the basis of the Tpack framework

Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteGreat post your visuals are excellent! I think your last statement is very important thanks for reiterating this! Very important information for us to keep in the forefront of our minds as learner managers.
Cheers Amanda
Hi Amanda,
ReplyDeleteBlog is coming along nicely - looks like you're getting the hang of it now!! :) Maybe just remember to say where the images/pictures have come from that you post on blog from other sites (i.e de Bonos hats) for copyright reasons.
Keep up the great work!!
